As kids, summers revolved around body surfing in the ocean and watersports at the lake. We took the clean waters and plastic-free beaches for granted. Now, we're facing a future with more plastic than fish in our seas. Plastic bottled water is a huge problem, but despite the wide availability of reusable bottles and refill stations, bottled water is more popular than ever. In order to make a difference, we needed a more pragmatic solution, so we set out to start a bottled water company that was different. We launched in 2014 and have built out a dream team working to eliminate 1 billion plastic bottles over the next 5 years .
