What does Climate Neutral even mean?
Solutions to climate change exist, they simply need funding. If we can drive investment into addressing the climate crisis we can cut our emissions and get on the right path to a zero-carbon future and a healthy climate. For the sake of our oceans, this is why Open Water has been certified Climate Neutral since 2020.
So what does it mean to be certified Climate Neutral? It means that we are committed to doing our part to transition to a net zero world. As part of this commitment, each year we measure and take accountability for our annual carbon footprint by:
1. Calculating all of the emissions that it takes to make and ship our products to your doorstep.
2. Setting time-bound reduction action plans to reduce our emissions.
3. Compensating for 100% of our carbon footprint by investing in climate change solutions, including carbon credits.
Above all, we are constantly (re)evaluating our current and future emissions to limit our impact on climate change.
What can you do? Look for the Climate Neutral Certified label when you shop to support the companies taking immediate climate action.
