We’re committed to delivering your Open Water order safely and on time. Please take a moment to review our shipping and return guidelines below.

Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for any products purchased on our online store, through Amazon, or through other authorized third-party retailers. If you have questions before placing an order, please contact us at onlineorders@drinkopenwater.com and we’ll be glad to help.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If we made a mistake with your order, or if your order was damaged in transit, please notify us within 5 business days of receiving your shipment by emailing onlineorders@drinkopenwater.com.

To process any replacement or reimbursement, your claim must include all three of the following:

  • Photos clearly showing the can/bottle damage. A photo of the outer shipping box will not suffice.
  • A count of the number of individually damaged cans/bottles.
  • The name of the recipient as it appears on the shipping label.

Claims missing any of the above requirements may not be eligible for reimbursement or replacement.

Shipping Information

Parcel shipments: Orders are shipped via common carriers such as UPS or FedEx. Delivery is $4 per order unless you order 3+ cases, in which case shipping is complimentary. If you’re not home at the time of delivery, carriers typically leave the package at your door or designated receiving area. If delivery isn’t possible, a redelivery attempt will be made.

Please note: Open Water is not a shipping company and does not have authority over how carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or other delivery services manage their deliveries. While we’re always happy to assist when possible, it is ultimately the responsibility of the package recipient to coordinate directly with the carrier regarding delivery instructions, rescheduling, or special requests (such as leaving a package in a particular location).

We (the shipper) do not control how the carrier chooses to honor or not honor such instructions.

Pallet shipments (mini and partial pallets): Orders ship via freight carrier. After placing your order, you’ll receive a form from our logistics team requesting delivery details. Once submitted, we aim to deliver pallet orders within 5 business days.
